The Painting & Decorating Association (PDA) was officially launched in July 2002, following a merger of the two leading associations representing professionals painters and decorators in the UK: the British Decorators Association and the Painting & Decorating Federation. Both associations had a long and distinguished history, the British Decorators Association having originally been founded in 1894.

The PDA represents and serves the whole trade: almost 2500 member companies ranging from sole traders to major national contractors. The association offers a wide range of value-for-money services and benefits and also the status of belonging to a prestige organisation whose high standards have achieved national recognition. It is the largest national organisation in the UK catering exclusively for the needs of the professional painter and decoration.

All members are qualified, fully insured, able to produce work of quality and work to a code of practice. M.J.Wright Painting & Decorating has been a member of the PDA since it’s launch and will continue to work with a valued and worthy organisation not only for the company’s benefit but for their customers as well.
